SMITHFIELD -- The funeral for James Rayford Faison, 61, of 704 East St., will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Juniper Grove Disciples Church in Four Oaks. Bishop Charles J. Williams Sr. will officiate.
Mr. Faison died Tuesday at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
A Wayne County native, he was the son of the late Clarence Bagley Jr. and Mary Jones Faison. He was a former employee of Johnston Memorial Hospital and had worked as a short order cook for many restaurants. He was a member of Juniper Grove Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Faison, and is survived by two sisters, Sherry Faison of Four Oaks and Pearl Warren of Pikeville; two brothers, Lonnie Henry Faison of Zebulon and Larry Faison of Suitland, Md.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday from 2 until 7 p.m. at Walter Sanders Funeral Home.
