LAGRANGE -- Cedric Earl Newcomb, 74, of 636 Parkstown Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T.C. West officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Newcomb was born in Wayne County to the late George Newcomb and Sadie Pelt Newcomb. He had worked with National Welders in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Gray Newcomb; his daughter, Robin Moore of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Marisa Maldonado of California; Diana Diaz Newcomb of Greenville; and Jose Diaz Newcomb of Goldsboro; his brothers and sisters, Joyce Newell of Goldsboro, George Newcomb of Seven Springs, Connie Turnage of Goldsboro and James Newcomb of Saulston.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Newcomb; and his brother, Glenn Newcomb.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
