Died March 12, 2006

The funeral for Carolyn Frances "Cat" Wooten will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First African Baptist Church. Apostle D.L. McIntyre will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Daryl Lamont Wooten of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Terri Thompson of Goldsboro and Tonya Wooten of Germany; three sisters, Jacqueline Day of Washington, D.C., and Marietta Wooten and Betty Mae Wooten of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren, Ebonee Shantel Wooten, Derric, Derrika and Terrika Dove, Kevin Hardy, and Jamal and Rasheed Langston; two great-grandchildren, Trasond and Akira McNeil; two aunts, Ruth Blue and Mary Raynor of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one goddaughter, Venecia Raynor; and seven nieces, two nephews, two great-nieces and two great-nephews.

The family will receive friends at the residence at 507 Quail Drive in Goldsboro.

Viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 today at McIntyre Funeral Home.
