Charles L. Lofton, 47, of 250 Whitley Church Road in the Rosewood community, died Monday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary M.B. Church. The Rev. Arthur Evans will officiate. Burial will be in McIver Cemetery.
Mr. Lofton is survived by his wife, Vara P. Lofton of the home; one son, Marcellus M. Lofton; his parents Mr. Charlie and Pauline Lofton; and one sister, Paulette L. Lofton.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 8 today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel and the family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
