LAGRANGE --Gladys Quinn Jacobs Frazier, 82, of 1934 Brookstone Drive, died Monday at her home.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with Chaplain Layne Rogerson officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Frazier was born in Jones County to the late Charles F. Quinn and Mattie Houston Quinn. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Buck Jacobs and James Frazier. Mrs. Frazier was a homemaker and a former housemother at the Kinston School Of Nursing.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicky Lane, and her husband, Gene, of LaGrange, Judy Stowe of Kinston and Delores Hatem and husband, Bobby, of LaGrange; one son, Daniel Jacobs, and his wife, Wanda of Kinston; eight grandchildren, Todd Boyd Jr., Cheryl Boyd, Allen Flanagan, Krystal Jones, Brittany Jones, Karen Garcia, Christian Jacobs and Kayla Heath; five great-grandchildren, Nestaseya, Alexis, Giovanni, Torey Leigh and Steven; one great-great-grandchild, Elexyanna; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Quinn and Mattie Quinn of Kinston.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Joseph, Theodore, Waite, Warren, Clayton, Carl and Ed Quinn; and four sisters, Lottie Sime, Levania Swindell, Bela Eaton and Minnie Bostic.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service Wednesday.
