Linda Tucker Hall, 65, of 214 Gurganus Road, died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Hall was born on December 21, 1940, to the late Joe Jesse Tucker Sr. and Addie Mae Gooding Tucker. She had been employed with Gambella Industries and Wayco Hams.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. today at the Pikeville Cemetery. The Rev. Alan Joyner will officiate.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann Tillman and fiancé, Lupe of Faro and Janet Hall of Snow Hill; her son, Charles Gurley and wife, Dawn of Pikeville; her sisters, Liza Tempie Aycock and husband, Randall of Chesapeake, Va., Eloise Tucker and Tom of Pikeville, Judy Harper and husband, Earl of Four Oaks, Sherby Hines and husband, Linwood of Goldsboro, and Virginia "Jenny" Pope and husband, Mark of Goldsboro; brothers, Earl F. Tucker and wife, Eunice of Snow Hill and Joe J. Tucker, Jr. and wife, Delaine of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Beth" Hall and fiancé, Silva, Joseph "Joe" Hall, "Major" Tillman, Maria Valdivia and fiancé, Alfredo, Jessica Valdivia, Tiffany Gurley and Wayne Gurley; two great-grandchildren, Alysia Hall and "Maria" Guadalupe Martinez.

Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27835

The family will receive friends today from 2 until 3 p.m., at Seymour Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home.
