KENLY -- The funeral for Inez Pope Stone, 84, of Wilson, will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Tony Rivers will officiate. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kenly Cemetery.
Mrs. Stone died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, L.V. Stone; one daughter, Janet Edmundson of Wilson; a stepson, Elvin Stone of Kenly; two sisters, Rachel Watkins of Pikeville and Joann Davis of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight.
