BOBBY W. TAYLOR

Bobby Walker Taylor, 77, of 3505 Catherine St., died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Taylor was born in Pulaski County, Georgia, to the late Norman Fletcher Taylor and Hattie Bohannon Taylor. He retired from the United States Army in 1969 and was a salesman for Master Artist Studio.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dr. Homer Morris officiating.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Annette Simmons Taylor; his daughter, Cathlene Sawyer, and her husband, Keith, of Stantonsburg; his brother, Jack Taylor of Burkesville, Ky.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 204 E. Chestnut St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday in the church parlor.
