MARY H. LENARD
Died Feb. 19, 2006
Mary Emma Hartzog Lenard, 89, mother of Rex H. Hartzog of Goldsboro, died Sunday at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
A resident of Ozark, Ala., Mrs. Lenard was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Opp, Ala. She retired from Micolas Cotton Mill in Opp and was a volunteer at hospitals in Ozark and Opp and numerous other organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Hartzog and Joe Kilcrease, and a daughter, Betty Hartzog.
In addition to her son, she is survived by three daughters, Carolyn H. Simmons and Patricia H. Rivenbark of Ozark and Kathryn H. Lee of Hamilton, Ga.; another son, Billy J. Hartzog of Talladega, Ala., one sister, Ethel Bickel, of Valdosta, Ga.; and 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
