LAGRANGE -- The funeral for Bobby L. Parks, 43, of 509 Firetower Road, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Saint Delight United Holy Church, 976 LaGrange Road. Bishop Leamon Dudley Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Pinelawn Cemetery in Kinston.
Mr. Parks died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
He is survived by his mother, Sally P. Taylor, and father, Bernell Taylor, of LaGrange; one sister, Angela C. Lynn of Cary; two brothers, Terry L. Parks of Heightonville, Md., and Billy Ray of Snow Hill; and one son, Jeremy Prince of LaGrange.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Goldsboro and the family will be present from 7 until 8 to receive friends.
