RUPERT E. BLAND
FAYETTEVILLE -- Rupert Earl Bland, 69, died Friday in his home.
Mr. Bland is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; a son, Robert Earl Bland of LaGrange; two daughters, Tempa Naylor and husband, Keith of Clinton, and Lisa Puczylowski and husband, Jimmy of Parkton; two brothers, Richard Bland of California and Jackie Bland of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sisters, Jeanette Hudson, Glenda Swanson and Joyce Home, all of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Blake Naylor, Steven Naylor and Lindsey Naylor, all of Clinton, Tiffany Stroup of Raeford, Krista Puczylowski and Cason Puczylowski, both of Parkton, and Wyatt Bland and Mason Larkin Bland, both of Goldsboro; and great-grandchildren, Damien Puczylowski of Parkton and Lakyn Stroup of Raeford.
Mr. Bland owned and operated Sandpiper Seafood Restaurant for 23 years.
