VIRGINIA BURCHER
ROSWELL, GA. -- Virginia R. Warren Burcher, 77, died at home Jan. 30.
Mrs. Burcher was a native of Faison. She was the daughter of the late Fred F. and Olivia Jones Warren, lifelong residents.
She was a graduate of the Faison School, East Carolina University, and was a retired teacher, having taught in Wilmington, Quan tico Marine Base School, Pittsburgh Public Schools, and Cobb County Schools of Suburban Atlanta schools. Mrs. Warren was active in the Georgian Democratic party affairs.
She was the widow of the late George F. Burcher; and the mother of three children, George Burcher Jr., Olivia Burcher Bishop, and Donald Warren Burcher; one granddaughter, Donna Burcher, and four grandsons.
In addition to her three children and granddaughter, she is survived by one brother, Melville Warren of Dover, Del.; and many cousins of the Faison area.
