Luna Banks, 77, of 302 Black Street, Fremont , died Tuesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greeville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Delight Original Free Will Baptist Church in Kenly. The Rev. James Perry will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs.. Banks is survived by her husband, Clinton Banks of the home; four sons, Clinton Banks Jr. and Joseph Banks of Goldsboro, Linton Banks of Dudley and Kenneth Banks of Queens, N.Y.; five daughters, Cora Banks, Virgina Gash, and Palena Banks of Brooklyn, NY., Linda Artis of Stantonsburg and Luna Wooten of Goldsboro; and 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
The viewing hours will be 3 until 8 p.m. today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro.
