FREMONT -- Ella Frances Hall Sullivan, 76, of 203 South Sycamore St., died Tuesday at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

The funeral will be held on tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, with the Reverend Bill Cotton officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Cobb Family Cemetery in Jason.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Greene County to the late Harris Hall and Minnie Connor Hall. She was a member of Fremont Holiness Church and was a gospel singer.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Hardison, Brenda Sullivan and Frances Mooring all of the home; five sons, Billy Sullivan and his wife, Kathy, of Fremont, George "Buddy" Sullivan and his wife, Barbara, of Pikeville, Rev. Ricky Sullivan and his wife, Debbie, of Pikeville, Al Sullivan and his wife, Connie, of Goldsboro and Tony Sullivan of Faro; one sister, Janice Cavenaugh and her husband, Roy, of Fremont; and 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her husband, George Sullivan; three brothers, James Hall, Donald Hall and Harris Hall Jr.; and one grandson, Ronnie Sullivan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight and other times at the residence.
