Sadie Jones Landis, 78, of Alteona, Calif., died Saturday.
She was born in Wayne County and was the daughter of the late Eddie and Esther Guy Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Jannie Kelly and Sue Bowden of Wilmington; and one brother, Ray Jones of Goldsboro
Her survivors include one daughter, Patsy and Hal O'Quin of Wilmington; two sisters, Peggy Rouse of Goldsboro and Kaye Mozingo and her husband George of Verona, Va.; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
