PAUL EVERETTE

Paul Everette, of 222 Shaw Pond Road, in the Bentonville community near Four Oaks, died last Friday at his residence. He was 81.

The funeral will be held this Friday at 1 p.m. at the Western Assembly Headquarters near Newton Grove. Burial will be in Hills of the Neuse Memory Garden.

Mr. Everette was the son of the late Paul Everette and Margaret Anderson and was married to Beulah Davis Everette for over 50 years. He farmed for many years and was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Larry Everette of Lawton, Okla., James Everette of Garner and Paul Everette Jr. of Israel; three daughters, Goldie Coleman of Kinston, Patricia Hopson of Newport News, Va., and Linda Young of Elizabeth, N.J.; eight sisters, Ethel Whitley of Bridgeport, Conn., Fabie Elliott of Four Oaks, Hazel Rollins of Smithfield, Barbara Matthews of Princeton, Linda Groves of Smithfield, Doris Davis of Godwin, Gertie Stevens of Newton Grove and Emma Gonza or Raleigh; and one brother, Clinton Sanders of Four Oaks; and 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Another son, Gary Everette, preceded him in death.

The wake will be held Thursday from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at Cedar Grove Disciples of Christ Church, 207 Long Leaf Road, Princeton.

Walter Sanders Funeral Home in Smithfield is serving the family.
