A funeral service for William King, 54, of 705 Claiborne St., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel. Apostle D.L. McIntyre will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Shermone King of Fayetteville and Takita Terrell of Chapel Hill; three sons, Antonie King and Travones Brown, both of Raleigh, and Jonathan McKinney of Mount Olive; his father, Arthur Lee King of Dudley; his mother, Geraldine Miller King of Goldsboro; six sisters, Cornett Durham of Dudley, Eloise K. McDaniel of Mount Olive, Cynthia King of Patterson, N.J., Odessa West of Goldsboro, Lorraine Carlton of Mount Olive and Vinline Whitaker of Clinton.

A viewing will be held today from 3 until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The family will assemble at 116 Daly Boulevard, Mount Olive, on Monday in preparation for the funeral.
