Nancy Tatum Allen, 74, of 630 E. Charles St., died Saturday at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Davis Cemetery. Lewis Styons will officiate.

Mrs. Allen was born March 31, 1931, to the late L.H. and Emma Ussery Tatum. On June 5, 1954, she married M.D. Allen. She attended Appalachian State University, was a 4-H leader for 35 years, a member of the 4-H Association, a member of the First Baptist Church of Grifton, and she was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debbie Howell, and husband, Robbie, of Fremont; two sons, Marion Allen and wife, Laura, of Greensboro, and Raymond Allen of the home; two brothers-in-law, Troy Allen and wife, Dorothy, of Glade Springs, Va., Lewis Styons of Plymouth; two sisters-in-law, Annetta Smithwick and husband, Charles, of Grifton, Nellie Sawyer of Scranton; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home at 630 E. Charles St., Grifton, N.C., 28530.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Paul Funeral Home of Washington is serving the family.
