Died Jan. 24, 2006

The funeral for Mildred Leach, 67, of 306 Brownrigg St., will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Moses Chapel Church of Christ in Faison. Elder Myron A. Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in Cobb Cemetery.

Mrs. Leach died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was a former resident of Faison and was the daughter of the late Roosevelt Rouse and Aretha Rouse Peoples. She retired from Deans Foods with 28 years of service.

Her survivors include five sons, Johnnie Rouse of Plant City, Fla., Samuel Rouse of Clinton, Nathaniel Rouse of Goldsboro, Thomas Rouse of Davenport, Fla., and Kenneth R. Rouse of Covington, Ga.; three sisters, Lizzie Peoples of Queens, N.Y., Rose George of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Fannie Candelario of Faison; and 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The viewing will be from 1 until 6 p.m. on Sunday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
