Pamela Jo Forrest, 48, died Sunday at her residence at 2710 Langston Drive in the Kirkwood Community.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning at 11 at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Doug Bartlett officiating.

A Wayne County native, Miss Forrest was the daughter of Ottis Ray and Jean Vester Forrest of Goldsboro and sister of the late William Kelly Forrest. She was a member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was an active participant in Bingo at Kirkwood.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Jeffrey David Forrest of Goldsboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda F. and Robert E. Sweet of Dudley; her former husband, David Lethco of Rural Retreat, Va.; a stepson, Danny Lethco; a niece, Rita Gayle Sweet of Dudley; and very special family friends, Gloria S. Bartlett, Judith M. Bartlett, Angela P. Willman and Heather and Kristen.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the funeral, and other times at the home Ottis Ray and Jean V. Forrest, 2637 US Hwy. 13 N., Goldsboro.

Flowers are welcome, and memorial gifts may be directed to the Easter Seals Foundation of North Carolina, Attn: Jeff Smith Sr., Director of Development, 2315 Myron Drive, Raleigh, N.C., 27607.

The family is being served by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory.
