Effie Strickland Adams, 82, died Monday at home.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum, under the direction of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will remain afterward to receive friends.
