RICHLANDS -- Ronnie Lee Hood, 78, died on Thursday at his home.
He was formerly of Goldsboro and retired as a district sales manager with Keeper Corporation.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The Rev. Phillip Bland the Rev. Raymond Whitehurst officiated. Burial was in the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Hood is survived by his wife, Doris Capps Hood; one son, Richard Allen "Dick" Hood and his wife, Sharon; a daughter, Sandy Hood Mills, and her husband, Mark, of Kinston; one grandson, Ethan Allen Mills; one step-grandson, Jason Mark Mills; and one step-great-granddaughter, McKenzie Alexandria Mills; one brother, Richard Norman Hood Jr. of Jacksonville; and two sisters, Margaret H. Stubbs of Jacksonville and Inez H. Deal of St. Petersburg, Fla.
The family received friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Tuesday.
