WARSAW -- The funeral for Anna Virginia Minton, 86, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Community Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Swanzy will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mrs. Minton died Tuesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Georgia Elizabeth Mosley Wooten of Norfolk, Va. She had been a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church for 60 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Minton Jr.; one son, Kenneth Roger Minton, and his wife, Jean Bedsole Minton, of Clayton; one grandson, Michael Trent Minton of Florida; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Elizabeth Wooten Casey of Norfolk, Va.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Community Funeral Home, and other times at the residence on East Chelly Street in Warsaw.
