SACHIKO T. McCARTY

Sachiko T. McCarty, 70, of 409 Lynn Avenue, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A private burial will be held.
Mrs. McCarty was born in Miyako, Okinawa, and was the daughter of the late Genshin Tiara and Kamado Takaesu Tiara.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clyde "Sarge" McCarty; one son, Josh M. McCarty and his wife, Lisa, of Clayton; one daughter, Kathy McCarty of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Joshua, Christina, Carman and Milo; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Penny's From Heaven in care of Southeastern Medical Oncology Center, 203 Cox Boulevard, Goldsboro, North Carolina 27534.
