Lynda M. Denny, 58, 311 Daniel Drive, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Denny was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on January 7, 1948 to the late Ralph and Betty Hayes Landingham. She was a licensed practical nurse employed with Goldsboro Family Physicians.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Meshaw and Dr. Keith Clarke officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Denny is survived by her husband, John Denny; a daughter, Julie D. Adams of Greenville; a son, John Denny of San Antonio, Texas; and five grandchildren, Katie Adams, Makayla Adams, Trinity Adams, Brandon Denny and Christopher Denny.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534; or to the Foundation of Wayne Community College, Lynda L. Denny Memorial Scholarship Fund for LPN's, P.O. Box 8002, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
