SNOW HILL -- Charlie Chamberlain Jr., 79, of 104 Pine Shoal Drive, died Monday at Britthaven Nursing Home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Chamberlain is survived by his wife, Mildred Suggs Chamberlain of the home; three sons, Charles Curtis Chamberlain of Daysville, Conn., Cleveland Chamberlain of Hookerton and Philip Chamberlain of Goldsboro; two daughters, Linda Fay Cason and Kathie C. Pierce of Raleigh; and one sister, Mildred Dixon of Snow Hill.
A walk-in wake will be held Thursday from 1 until 8 p.m. at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home.
