Vira Lee Freeman, 96, of 109 Sevendales Drive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lee Family Cemetery in Meadow. The Reverends Rick Mondell & Robert Capps officiated.
Mrs. Freeman was born February 23, 1909, in Meadow to the late Jasper & Rozella Johnson Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.M.D. Freeman.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Lee Freeman of Goldsboro and Robert Alan Freeman of Miami, Fla.; five grandchildren & six great-grandchildren.
