LAGRANGE -- Faye Arthur Wallace, 80, died Wednesday at her home.
A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Virgil Whitehurst will officiate. A reception will follow at La Grange Garden Club, 210 West Washington St., LaGrange.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Lenoir County to the late Benjamin Creech Arthur and Ora Langston Arthur. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Victor Wallace, and a son, Larry Wallace. Mrs. Wallace was a former member of LaGrange United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Brockhaus of LaGrange; a daughter, Vicky Hughes of LaGrange; sister-in-law, Ruth Wallace of Knoxville, Tenn.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home.
