Antonia Schutz Zimmermann, 74, of 2716 E. Ash Street, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Zimmermann was born in Munich, Germany, on March 29, 1931, to the late Josephine and Anton Schutz Sr. She was married to the late CMSgt. (Ret.) Emil Zimmermann.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Daniels Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenn B. Everett officiating.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Gay and husband, Marty, of Franklinton; two sons, Frank Zimmermann and wife, Leigh, of Wake Forest and Roy Zimmermann and fiancée, Shelley Herring, of Dillon, S.C.; a brother, Anton Schutz Jr. of Weilheim, Germany; a sister, Albertine Feyerabend of Munich, Germany; four grandchildren, Cpl. Joseph Zimmermann, Lance Cpl. Steven Zimmermann, Samantha Putman, and Christopher Gay; and a special friend and caregiver, Shirley Fickes.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 600 N. George Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
