KINSTON -- The funeral for Willie Whitfield, 51, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church. Elder Rudolph Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Mills Memorial Garden.
Survivors include one son, Corey Whitfield of the home; four sisters, Mary Sutton of LaGrange and Migertha Exum, Mannie Holmes and Brenda Brizzell of Kinston; four brothers, Earl Williams of Elizabeth, N.Y., James Brizzell of LaGrange and Lenwood Brizzell and Preston Brizzell of Kinston.
Visiting hours will be from 2 until 8 today at Mills Funeral Home.
