Helen Garner McCrae, 83 formerly of Hampton, Va., died Monday at the home of her niece in Dudley.
She was married to the late James Norris McCrae for 45 years prior to his death in 1990.
Her survivors include two sisters, Hazel Franklin of Chicago, Ill., and Charity McCrae Merritt of Suitland, Md.; several nieces and nephews Including Renee Henderson (Len) of Dudley, Thaddeus McCrae (Marie) of Selma; and Michael McCrae (Angela) and Pamela Franklin of Minneapolis, Minn.
A graveside services will be held Friday at noon at the Hampton Memorial Gardens in Hampton, Va.
A viewing will be held today from 3 until 6 at McIntyre Funeral Home, followed by an inspirational wake from 6 until 7, with the Rev. Janis Scales officiating.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Renee Henderson, 4694 US Hwy. 117 Alternate, Dudley.
