NEW BERN -- Betty S. Jones Gibble, 62, formerly of Goldsboro, died at her home on Saturday,
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Pollock-Best Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Leland Heath officiating. Burial will be in Spring Garden Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by one step-son David Gibble of New Bern, four daughters, Ellen McCoy of Vanceboro, Joann K. Rouse of Bridgeton, Betty Pekau of Orland Park, Ill., and Jessica Holloway of Vanceboro; one stepdaughter, Annette Frazier of Bridgeton; five brothers, Leon J. Smith, Bruce Smith, Ronnie Smith, Payne Smith and Preston Smith all of New Bern; and two Sisters, Joyce Manning of Vanceboro and Dorothy Anderson of Jacksonville, N.C.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to The Clark's United Methodist Church, New Bern, N.C.
