FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Lena Isabel Backus, 75, died Monday at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, the Meridian Club and the ECU group.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Backus; and one daughter, Frances Thomson, and her husband and two children of Goldsboro.
The funeral was to be held today at St. George's Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg.
