DUNN -- Belle West Jackson, 82, died Sunday at Durham Regional Hospital.
The Johnston County native was the daughter of the late William Elbert and Bethany Raynor West. She was a retired LPN with Besty Johnson Regional Hospital and Golden Years Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Travis Jackson; two daughters, Becky Butler and Joyce Ann Griffin; and a brother, Albert Rosa West.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Skinner and Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Hannah Creek Church Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Robin Brogden of Dudley; a son, Randy Griffin of Dunn, six grandchildren, Jacob Griffin, Ken Butler, Travis Brogden, Jason Elmore and Samantha Seagroves; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives tonight from 7 to 9 at Skinner and Smith Funeral Home.
