LAGRANGE -- The funeral for Sylvia Sutton will be held today at 2 p.m. at Holy Grove Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Lester Briggs will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Ms. Sutton is survived by one son, Edward Sutton of Goldsboro; three daughters, Verna Sutton of Kinston and Emma Sutton and Gail Morgan of LaGrange; one brother, Quincy Sutton of LaGrange; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family received friends on Saturday from 2 until 8 p.m. at LaGrange Mortuary.
