VIRGINIA WILSON

Virginia M. "Ginny" Wilson, stepmother of Betty Godwin of Goldsboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Joe and Cecile Biddell. She had worked for the Chaparral Council of the Girl Scouts, volunteered with Senator Pete Dominici's first campaign, and was a former member of Beta Lambda Sorority, Epsilon Sigma Alpha Chapter.

Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Godwin, are Mrs. Wilson's husband of 50 years, John W. Wilson; two daughters, Diane Arbuckle and Susan May of Albuquerque; one son, John J. Wilson of Albuquerque; two other stepdaughters, Nancy Glodek of Albuquerque and Cheryl Miller of McMinnevill, Ore.; and 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, under the direction of French Mortuary.
