The funeral for Johnny McDuffy, 59, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Rhodes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery.
Mr. McDuffy died last Sunday in a fire at his residence in Jamaica, N.Y.
He was a former resident of Goldsboro and served as a musician for several churches.
He is survived by one daughter, Star Anna McDuffy of Courtland, N.Y.; one son, Sean McDuffy of Manhattan, N.Y.; and one sister, Beatrice Parker of Goldsboro.
Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro is serving the family.
