Died Dec. 4, 2005

The funeral for Ruby Mae Jordan, 87, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Dr. Glenn Phillips Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jordan was a resident at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale. She was a native of Pitt County and was the daughter of the late David and Penny Tripp White. She married to the late Thomas Graham Jordan and, prior to her retirement, was employed with First Baptist Church Daycare in Goldsboro

She is survived by one son, Troy Gene Jordan of Pikeville; one daughter, Pat Giddens of Summerfield; one sister, Ethelene Vandiford of Greenville; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will be receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in Goldsboro.
