WARSAW -- The funeral for Robert Price, 71, will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church in Turkey. The Rev. Kevin Allen will officiate. Entombment, with full military honors, will follow at the Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Price died last Saturday at Guardian Care Nursing Center.
He was the son of the late John and Florine Lamar Price and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Addie Hodges Price of the home; two sons, Gary H. Price of Goldsboro and Robert G. Price of Landover, Md.; four brothers, Willie James Price of Landover, Md., the Rev. Joseph M. Price of Norfolk, Va., Otis Price of Washington, D.C., and Edward Wright of Riverdale, Md.; four sisters, Annie Lester of Orlando, Fla., Dorothy Lester of Virginia Beach, Va., Valerie Young of Washington, D.C., and Edna Wright of Forestville, Md., and two grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 6 today at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive and from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Turkey.
The family will receive friends at the residence at 723 E. Hill St., Warsaw.
