The funeral for Carrie Lee Hill, 79, of 906 E. Walnut St., will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Eastern Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Dortch officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hill died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. Ralph and Hattie Henderson Goodman.
Her survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Pulliam of the home and Doris Simms and Shirley Johnson of Goldsboro; three sons, Daniel Hill of Yonkers, N.Y., James Lee Hill of Baltimore, Md., and William G. Hill of Dudley; one sister, Eldress Velma McKinney of Dudley, and 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 4 until 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and other times at the residence.
