The funeral for Oliver Jason Patterson Sr., of 2101 N. William St., Apt. 101, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home. The Reverend Dr. Burke S. Daniels will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Patterson was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He died Wednesday at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife, Dorcas Silver Patterson of the home; three daughters, Shirley D. Patterson of Goldsboro, Debbie D. Medlin of Cameron and Angela Y. Miller of Baltimore, Md.; one son, Oliver Jason Patterson, Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Mary Raines of Baltimore, Md., and Barbara J. Dyson of Suisun City, Calif.; and one grandchild, Joey R. Floyd
The viewing hours will be from 10 until 1 today at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
