LLOYD Q. PRICE

Lloyd Quenton Price, 78, of 121 Rowe St., died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Price was born in Wayne County on August 22, 1927, to the late Daniel Grady Price and Lucille Jones Price. He retired from the United States Army, having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. After retiring from the military, Mr. Price owned and operated F&L Body Shop in Pikeville.

Mr. Price was involved in his community and volunteered for Meals On Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and the Friends Disaster Service. He was an active member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, and its Primetimer's and Friendship Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Cooke Price; his daughters, Shelia P. Eanes and husband Randy of Goldsboro, Sharlene P. Tucker and husband Raymond of Dunn and Cathy Brunt of Charlotte; his sons, Danny Price and wife Mardie of Goldsboro and Tim Price and wife Cristy of Pikeville; his brother, Daniel Griffin Price and wife Janet of Goldsboro; and 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Bailey and Rev. Barry Williamson officiating. Interment, with full military honors, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Grady Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church following the funeral on Tuesday night.
