Oren "O.B." Buren Tessenear Jr., 81, of Raleigh died Friday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held today at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Donald Warren will officiate.
Mr. Tessenear was born to the late Oren Buren Tessenear and Lillie Richards Tessenear on July 6, 1924. He was retired from the City of Raleigh.
He is survived by his brothers, Elmer Tessenear of Elizabethtown, James Tessenear of Portsmouth, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
