The funeral for George Johnson will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Dr. Glenn Phillips will conduct the service. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Johnson's family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the service, and other times at the residence at 203 E. Lockhaven Drive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 125 S. John St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530; or to Mount Olive College, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is serving the family.
