MOUNT HOLLY -- Lester Marshall Wilson Sr., 50, of 224 E. Glendale Ave., died Thursday at his residence.
He was a native of Wayne County and was the son of Betty Ray Smith Wilson Kane of Texas and the late Lester Lee Wilson Jr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Lester M. Wilson Jr. and Lawrence J. Wilson of Arden; five sisters, Lee Hamilton, Jane Keen, Holly Parrish, Ethel Miller and Jessica Wilson; one brother, David Wilson; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 in the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Bost will officiate. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
