Eunice A. Bailey, 91, of the Buckhorn Community, died Friday at her home.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. today at Buckhorn United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey attended ECTC (ECU) and ACC (Barton College) where she pursued a degree in primary and elementary education. She taught at Buckhorn and Rock Ridge schools for 38 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex A. Bailey, and her daughter, Mary B. B. Hutchinson.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby R. Bailey and J. W. Bailey, both of Kenly; two sisters, Blue Hatch of Raleigh, and Rose Karam of Albemarle; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends other times at 9155 Rex Turner Road, Kenly.
