FOSTER McKINNIE

Died Nov. 12, 2005

ROSE HILL -- The funeral for Foster McKinnie, 63 of 803 N. Sycamore St., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke Holy Church with the Rev. Anthony Flow officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Mr. McKinnie died Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Richard and Leola Beamon McKinnie and was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma McKinnie of the home; one daughter, Larecia McKinnie of the home; five sons, Jason McKinnie of Harrells, Bryan McKinnie of Clinton, Antonio McKinnie of Kinston, Jeffrey McKinnie of Rose Hill and John David McKinnie of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Jacqueline McKinnie and Sandra Furlow of Rose Hill; two brothers, Benjamin McKinnie of Washington, D.C., and Richard McKinnie of Rose Hill; and 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 p.m. on Friday at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

The family will receive friends at the home of Sandra Furlow, 4270 Hwy. 117 S., Rose Hill.
