Lora Wiggins O'Neal, 70, of 1803 Dogwood St., died Thursday at her home.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hunter Preston officiating. Burial will be in Greenleaf Memorial Park in New Bern.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. Wiggins and Effie Strickland Wiggins. She was retired from E.I. DuPont and was a life-long member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Mrs. O'Neal is survived by her husband, Robert O'Neal; a daughter, Sharon Munford and husband, Allen, of Goldsboro; one son, Davis Alan Corbett of Jackson, N.C.; two stepsons, Ryan C. O'Neal and Jody C. O'Neal of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy Mozingo and Carrie Walker and husband, Jimmy; one brother, Walter Wiggins and wife, Cleavie; one brother-in-law, Robey Raynor; and one grandson, Steven Corbett.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Raynor, and a grandson, Jonathan Corbett.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral home, and at other times at the residence.
