FARMVILLE -- Mary Sue Williams, 93, died Monday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Moye Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Pitt County and was the daughter of the late Blannie Gorham and Ora Gorham Peterson.

She was married to the late Herbert Williams Sr. for 49 years.

Her survivors include three daughters, Mary Sue Williams of Dudley, Ethel Mae Williams Murphy of Farmville and Belinda Faye Williams of Greensboro; six sons, George Williams of Washington, D.C., Herbert Williams Jr. of Greenvile, Jimmy Lee Wil-liams and Charles Williams
of Norwalk, Conn., James Thomas Williams of Manhat-tan, N.Y., and Johnny Ray Williams of Bridgeport, Conn.; and 24 grandchildren, 18 great-gtrandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A walk-in wake will be held today from 6 until 9 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home in Farmville.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ethel Mae Murphy, 3723 S. Cameron St., Farmville.
