WARSAW -- Funeral services for Minnie Blake, 72, of 446 Veach's Mill Road, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Herman Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery.
Mrs. Blake died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. Alonzo and Daisy Newkirk Miller.
She is survived by one son, Freddie Tuggle of Virginia Beach, Va.; five sisters, Sallie Pearsall, Ethel Jaman, Jean Boykins and Rena Miller-Wilson of Warsaw and Naomi Miller of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Friday at Garris Funeral Home, and one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
